Roger and Lea Berry are the founders and coaches of Berry Coaching & Consulting, a premier firm in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, and their services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each of their clients. They started their business while transitioning out of government work and into consulting. Lea initially began her business venture by enrolling and becoming a certified professional coach with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC). After three years of coaching one-on-one, Lea began to notice many of the same issues for her clients. Organizations were struggling to afford increasing salaries with barely enough room for personal development and losing incredible talent. In order to level the playing field, Lea and her husband Roger were eager to use their expertise to help these organizations and their people thrive.

Both were eager to find a way to build their own flexibility and freedom to deliver high quality work for their clients directly. Since opening their own shop, they've worked in the innovative space, pairing with entrepreneurs and thought leaders in the Washington, DC area. They are passionate about helping others reach their goals, and understand the frustration of working in an organization with limited resources and high turnover. Their main goal is to mutually support employees' growth within their company while improving overall culture and productivity for the employer. 

Since launching, they've successfully coached hundreds of people through their career progression and facilitated custom sessions for the non-profit and for-profit sector. Their goal is to triple the number of people they serve by 2019!
